In Gplayer, use the + button or the file and network stream opening options. In Gplayer TV, open the add-source options. Choose a file, an SMB share, an M3U/M3U8 playlist or an authorised Xtream account.

Your first steps.
Enter the details.
Enter the full address and, if required, credentials supplied by your server. For a NAS, check that the SMB share is reachable from your device. Add your XMLTV guide if you use one.
Start watching.
Open your source, select a media item and start playback. You can then use history and resume playback. On Apple TV, navigate with the Siri Remote. On Android TV and Fire TV, use the directional buttons, OK and Back on your remote.
Gplayer
On iPhone and iPad
Allow local network access when the app needs it for your NAS or local devices. To open a file, make it available in the Files app, then select it in Gplayer.
Apple Watch
Control from your wrist.
Browse the library, start media on a paired device and control playback, pause and volume with the Digital Crown. The iPhone stays active and relays commands to iPad or Apple TV.
CarPlay
Your library, in CarPlay.
Access your accounts, channel groups and playback controls through your iPhone on supported systems and vehicles. Available features depend on compatibility.
Apple Vision Pro
Your space. Your media.
Enjoy Gplayer in your space with the Designed for iPad version. This is not a native visionOS app or a claim of spatial video playback.
Mac Apple silicon
More room for your sources.
Use the Designed for iPad version on compatible Apple silicon Macs, subject to App Store availability. Gplayer is not a Mac Catalyst application.
Gplayer TV
On Apple TV
Check that your Apple TV can reach your server or NAS. Using the same Wi-Fi network does not guarantee access: a guest network or device isolation can block connections.
Check the address, port and account permissions. Also consult the in-app guide for navigation and playback controls.
Android TV / Fire TV
Dedicated support for Gplayer Android TV / Gplayer Fire TV on Mi Box, Android TV and Fire TV Stick. This edition uses an APK and a license separate from Apple editions.
Install and update
In Downloader or your device browser, open the official link below to download the APK. If prompted by Android or Fire TV, allow installation for the app you're using, then open the downloaded file.
To update, install the new APK over the existing version. Avoid uninstalling the app or clearing its data: this can remove sources, preferences, and local device identity.

Add your source
Fill in the full address, possible port and the identifiers provided by your source. Check the spaces at the beginning or end of your entry and the validity of your access. Gplayer does not provide IPTV account.
For an SMB share, the device must be able to reach the NAS. A guest network or Wi-Fi isolation can prevent this access, even if the devices use the same box.
Browse and read
Use the arrows to move the selection, OK to open or validate and Back to return to the previous screen. During playback, display the player controls with OK.
If the video stops or stutters, try another channel or file, check your network connection and your provider's connection limit. Tell support if the problem affects live streaming, movies, preview or full screen.
Programs, posters and hidden elements
EPG schedules, summaries and posters depend on the information provided by your source. Absent data does not necessarily mean that the reader is malfunctioning.
If a channel or category has disappeared after hiding, check the handling of hidden items and redisplay it. Masking organizes your library without deleting content from the provider.
A license for your TV
The licence costs €20 as a one-time payment for one Android TV or Fire TV device. Apple purchases do not unlock this edition and App Store restore does not apply to the APK.
Scan the QR code on your TV with your iPhone or Android phone. Pay for your licence on Stripe or enter a free code, then return to the TV to finish activation. The licence applies to the TV, not the phone.
Report a problem
Provide the exact model, Android or Fire OS version, Gplayer version and the steps that trigger the problem. For image or sound, add the TV model and specify if the fault concerns all sources.
Hardware tests were carried out on Mi Box 4. Validation on Fire TV Sticks, from Lite to 4K Max, remains to be carried out.

Gplayer is a media player. No content or IPTV subscription is included.
Subscription, trial and restore.
Each app offers a three-day free trial, followed by an annual subscription billed by Apple at the price shown in your App Store. Gplayer and Gplayer TV use separate subscriptions.
- To restore a purchase, open the relevant app and choose “Restore Purchases” on the subscription screen.
- To manage or cancel, open your Apple Account settings or use the link below. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- If restoration fails, make sure you are using the same Apple Account used for the purchase, then try restoring again.
Playback won’t start?
- Check your connection, then the source address and credentials.
- Try another media item you can legally access to isolate a file or format issue.
- Check your provider’s connection limits. Gplayer does not control third-party servers.
- If the issue persists, include the app version, device model, system version, source type and steps to reproduce it.
